Privacy Policy

Last updated 15 October 2026. What we collect, why, who we share it with and how to use your rights.

This policy explains what personal data Nimbus Web Solutions and its parent company, Nimbus Web Technologies, collect through this website and when you contact us, why we collect it, who we share it with and the rights you have. It applies to www.nimbuswebsolutions.net.

Who we are

Nimbus Web Solutions is a digital agency that operates under its parent company, Nimbus Web Technologies. Both are registered businesses based in Lahore, Pakistan, and we work with clients in the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe. In this policy, "Nimbus", "we" and "us" mean both. Nimbus Web Technologies is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us about anything in this policy at contact@nimbuswebsolutions.net.

What we collect

  • Contact form. Your name, email address and message, plus your phone number and company if you choose to add them.
  • Emails and calls you arrange with us. Your contact details and whatever you choose to tell us about your business and project.
  • Website analytics, only with your consent where the law requires it. Google Analytics 4 records which pages you visit, how you arrived, your approximate location (city or country), and your device and browser type. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
  • Technical data. Our hosting provider and the font service record standard connection data, such as your IP address, browser and the time of your request, so pages can be delivered securely.

We do not ask for, and ask you not to send us, sensitive information such as health or financial account details through the website.

You don't have to give us any personal data, but we can't reply to an enquiry without a way to contact you.

Why we use it and our legal basis

If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR require us to have a legal basis for each use.

  • To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal: steps taken at your request before a contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
  • To deliver services once you become a client: performance of our contract with you.
  • To understand how the website is used and improve it: your consent, given through the cookie banner. You can withdraw it at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
  • To keep the website secure and working: our legitimate interest in running a safe website.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting duties: legal obligation.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making, and we do not sell it.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the website and our business, under contracts that limit how they can use it:

  • Webflow, which hosts this website and receives contact form submissions. Webflow uses Cloudflare to deliver pages.
  • Google, for Google Analytics (when you consent) and for the Google Fonts used on the site.
  • Our email provider, which stores the messages we send and receive.

Nimbus Web Solutions and Nimbus Web Technologies share data with each other only as needed to handle your enquiry and deliver our services.

We may also share data if the law requires it, or to protect our rights in a dispute. If our business is ever sold or merged, data may pass to the new owner under this policy.

International transfers

We are based in Pakistan and our providers are based mainly in the United States, so your data will be processed outside the UK and the EEA. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards our providers offer, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension for providers certified under it, the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that don't lead to work: up to 24 months after our last contact.
  • Client records: for the length of the project and then as long as tax and accounting rules require.
  • Analytics data: no longer than 14 months.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • correct it if it is wrong;
  • delete it;
  • restrict or object to how we use it;
  • send it to you or another company in a portable format;
  • withdraw your consent, which does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

Email contact@nimbuswebsolutions.net and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your data protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk); in the EU it is the authority in your country; in Switzerland it is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

California residents: we do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. You can ask to know, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you using the email above, and we will not treat you differently for doing so.

Children

This website is meant for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

Security

The website is served over HTTPS, access to our accounts is limited to the people who need it, and we use providers with established security programmes. No method of sending data over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect yours.

Cookies

Our Cookie Policy lists the cookies and similar storage this website uses and how to change your choice.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so on the website.
